Emergency First Aid - CPR A & AED

$110 • 1 day 8 - 4 pm

This CPA class will be taught by St John Ambulance as a private session for Elbow Park residents. Babysitters, Parents, Grandparents and Good Samaritans will find this the perfect class for them. 

In this one-day course, students will learn to recognize and provide interventions for life-threatening emergencies until medical aid arrives. Topics include: CPR and choking for adults, shock and unconsciousness, severe bleeding, head & spinal injuries, major medical conditions, and AED training and certification. 

This is a great opportunity to get familiar with the new Automated External Defibrillator (EAD) located in the Clubhouse. Many facilities now have these devices that can significantly alter the outcome of cardiac arrest or arrhythmia.
